Abstract: The article presents a response to several commentaries concerning the paper "B. Cannabis and schizophrenia: model projections of the impact of the rise in cannabis use on historical and future trends in schizophrenia in England and Wales." The paper took an ecological approach to the debate on whether the use of cannabis cause schizophrenia. The authors related changes in the levels of cannabis use since 1970s to incidence of schizophrenia in the late 1990s.
