Abstract: The article attempts to clarify some of the issues concerning the significant relationship between exhibitionism and other serious sexual offenses like pedophilia. The traditional view on exhibitionism claims that exhibitionists are not sexually aggressive. However, recent publications contend the traditional view and stress that some of the exhibitionists commit sexual offenses involving force, while others harass children. A present study shows that persistent exhibitionists have a low incidence of sexual offenses involving force. On the other hand, investigation on witness suggests a clear relationship between exhibitionism and pedophilia.
