The article focuses on reviewing major objectives and study design of the Field Trials of the 1987 draft on Mental Behavioural and Developmental Disorders of Chapter V. Assessment of the feasibility, suitability and reliability of the new classification are the three over-riding objectives for the Field Trials. Stages in the Field Trials Design include translation, familiarisation, preparation of case summaries, joint assessment of patients, assessment of case summaries and further comments and suggestions. |
