Abstract: The author focuses on the issue regarding the pull out of the International Assessment of Agricultural Science and Technology project in the U.S. He pointed out that Monsanto Co. and Sygenta, two CropLife member corporations, are wrong in their decision in withdrawing the international assessment on agriculture. He states that the move of the companies to believe that biotechnology is an essential response to hunger is like letting down those that they most wanted to help.
