| Abstract: | The article discusses the author's experience in the identification of context. According to the author, the use of such metaphors in psychology, documenting trends in the choice of metaphors. It is suggested that in cognitive psychology, the computer metaphor has dominated and very recently, connectionism has become popular as a way to model a wide variety of theoretical perspectives. It is the author's view that the connectionist approach gives researchers a set of computational and conceptual tools that can be used for investigating specific fundamental issues of human development. |
