Abstract: The article discusses a research that utilizes a case-series method to synthesize the current alcohol issues across 18 countries. The study focuses on how different nation states respond to alcohol-related problems. It presents various insights concerning the role of different historical, social and cultural factors on alcohol consumption and alcohol-related problems. Moreover, the research focuses solely on the immediate causes and consequences of alcohol consumption, particularly in genetic and biomedical field.
