Abstract: The article offers information on several contributors to the book "Social Analysis." An associate professor in the Department of Anthropology at the John Jay College of Criminal Justice and the Graduate Center of the City University of New York, Avram Bornstein's research and teaching focuses on state violence and racism in Israel-Palestine and in the U.S. Aside from being a professor of anthropology at Rutgers University, R. Brian Ferguson has wrote books on aspects of war. Born in Chile, Beatriz Mans' research has centered on rural Mayan population.
