Abstract: The article offers information on the study on new genome-wide linked to nicotine addiction and lung cancer susceptibility. It examines the evidence that a polymorphic variation correlated to a nicotine receptor subunit cluster contributes to increased risk of becoming addicted to nicotine, through the expression of receptors in epithelial cells in the lung.
