| Abstract: | This article discusses the concept of attributuion as applied to academic judgments. It explains that attribution is a key term in social psychology and many intensive research have been conducted in several directions which can be categorized in two major trends, such as studies that focused on the perceived causes of others' or of one's own behavior and studies that examined causal inferences people use to explain others. According to the author these studies raised questions on how the attributions influence our feelings about past events, our expectations about the future and our behaviors and conceptions about ourselves and others. |
