Abstract: The article discusses climate change, atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2), and global temperature rise. An "Open Atmospheric Science Journal" paper preprint by climate scientist James Hansen of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Goddard Institute for Space Studies and nine co-authors presents a temperature forecast that exceeds a 2007 forecast of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
