The author discusses the characterization of Scottish psychiatrist Ronald David Laing by another psychiatrist Thomas Szanz. He states that Laing was often described as an anti-psychiatrist due to his critique of mainstream psychiatry. He cites some of the interpretations of a dream by Laing, in which he is in a football match and he is both sides. He tackles the behaviour of Laing toward author Clancy Sigal and British politician John Thomson Stonehouse. |
