| Abstract: | The article discusses the allocation of health care resources at the point of care in the U.S. According to the author, health care providers at community clinics that deliver primary care at no-cost or low-cost are struggling to meet an unlimited demand for health care with limited resources. How the lack of a predetermined plan for the distribution of health care resources leads to allocation decisions that limit the type and amount of health care a patient receives is discussed. |
