| Abstract: | The author reflects on the academic reviewers and review process of the journal "Ophthalmic & Physiological Optics" (OPO). He mentions that OPO reviewers provide information to the editor to determine wheter a paper is accepted for publication or rejected. He mentions that any past reviewing history is checked to determine if a potential reviewer had reviewed any other papers in the previous six months and to determine the quality and timeliness of past reviews. |
