Abstract: The author reflects on the comment of editor and television (TV) presenter Adam Rutherford concerning the position of journalists in the media world. He cites how Rutherford considers journalists as the Woody Allen in since they are prone to constant self-punishment anxiety and repressed sexuality. The author also asserts the need for journalists to have an automatic access to original research articles to have the chance to check and confirm their scientific stories.
