| Abstract: | The paper discusses a questionnaire survey that examined the attitudes, knowledge, practice, and experience of corneal donation of hospice staff with direct clinical contact with patients. Results revealed several barriers to discussing corneal donation, despite positive staff attitudes toward donation, which could reduce donation rates. It is noted that this could be improved through local policies for further education, prompts in documentation and availability of informative leaflets. |
