| Abstract: | The article explains two types of errors in language, the factual and those related to un-critical thinking. It provides examples illustrating factual errors including misinterpretation, miscalculation and misprints in manuscripts, which provide the obverse of the fit reader concept. It defines un-critical thinking as reasonable, reflective thinking that is focused on deciding what to believe or do that can interfere witreh one's ability to evaluate information and come to sensible decisions. |
