Abstract: The article discusses palliative care in advanced stage of Parkinson disease. Palliative outcome scale was administered to patients. There was a positive correlation between number of symptoms and disease severity. The Palliative outcome scale score was 13.6, and this suggests that moderate palliative care is necessary. It mentions that this patients affected by progressive neurological conditions should be considered for referral to specialist palliative care services.
