| Abstract: | The article describes an experimental program developed by mental health practitioners to address the needs of the biological parents, the foster parents, and the foster children during the visiting process for the expedite the reunification of families. The program was conducted at the Child Guidance Clinic of Waterbury, Connecticut, in the spring of 1989 and was named Family Reunification Project. The aim of the project was to maintain the relationship between biological parents and foster children during the placement period. |
