| Abstract: |
The article aims to complement a previous paper on clinical reasoning and provides an actual clinical case that was de-identified but the substrate of the case was used as an exemplar of pattern-based formulation (PBF). It cites the case of a young female who worked in healthcare and was very passionate about her career. The case presented was complex and challenging due to the ongoing high acute suicidal risk, non-response to treatments and challenging behaviour causing team splitting. |
