Abstract: The article offers a guide for teachers to ensure that they are teaching up to the high expectations they set for students. It advises teachers to choose a starting point such as research, planning with students and their needs in the foreground, and lesson or unit planning, as well as to choose to teach like all students are smart or advanced learners.
