Abstract: The article presents the author's views on traveling programs in children's education. Today schools are being told to enforce on family holidays taken in term time. School holidays have lost their charm as the parents and children are forced to spend the time apart. Two weeks in the classroom will be less valuable than a fortnight on holiday. Children, during their holidays, can experience changes in culture, climate and currency. It has been observed that children on holidays are serving their travel apprenticeships by learning about foreign languages and airports; experiencing the procedures and customs of different countries will give them the confidence to explore on their own in later life.
