| Abstract: | The article presents the author's views regarding disruptive students. The author argues that psychological explanations eradicate responsibility from the child. The author questions the validity of the number of behavior issues explained by psychology. The suggestion is made that parents should be held accountable for disruptive students with a fine system. The difference between a child with a genuine behavior or attention problem, such as ADHD, and child who enjoys disruption is also discussed. INSET: Teacher versus psychology. |
