| Abstract: | The author reflects on the factors to consider in starting with computer-based assessment (CBA). He argues that it is important to discuss its logistical advantages and weighed against the logistical downsides. A list of organized categories of the benefits and down sides of CBA is presented including financial, psychometric, and educational issues. He suggests to focus on areas where computers have an added value to the existing technology. |
