Abstract (English): Latin American population is currently immersed in an accelerated process of ageing, consequence of its demographic transition in which both natality and mortality rates are decreasing. It is estimated that around a 20% of the population will be older than 60 in twenty years, when starting point in 1950 was a 6% (Chackiel, 2000; Huenchuan, 2013a; UNFPA, 2017). Despite this process is not homogeneous among countries, trend towards ageing is significant, as well as its different rate. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
[ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
