Although we continue to think of companies under a Fordist configuration of work organization, since the last decades of the 20th century, the "company-network" has become the paradigmatic model of business productive organization promoting the outsourcing of everything that does not it is considered the center of the business. The emergence of digital labor platforms, which reduce transaction and coordination costs to find the talent that organizations need, has further accelerated pre-existing outsourcing trends. Aunque seguimos pensando en las empresas bajo una configuración fordista de la organización del trabajo, desde las últimas décadas del siglo XX, la "empresa-red" se ha convertido en el modelo paradigmático de organización productiva empresarial promoviendo la externalización de todo aquello que no se considera el centro del negocio. La irrupción de las plataformas digitales laborales, que reducen los costes de transacción y coordinación para encontrar el talento que las organizaciones necesitan, ha acelerado aún más las tendencias de externalización preexistentes.
