Abstract (English): The article describes the antecedents of the Ukrainian war and Putin s fallacy when he considers NATO' s nearness to the Russian borders -especially the to the Russian borders -especially the Organization- as the cause for the "technical military operation" which provoked the invasion of this country. NATO is not a danger for Russia, the existence of NATO countries bordering Russia does not constitute a threat for its security, and the Alliance has no intention whatsoever to attack Russia. Neither Zelinski's Government is committing acts of genocide against Russian-speaking Ukrainians, nor NATO and Russia have permanently confronted one another since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, because there has been periods of undenrstanding and cooperation between the two Parties. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
