Abstract (English): The objective of the present study is to invite the reader to accomplish a reflection reasoned on the acting of the most controversial character of the history of the evangelization of the peninsular Mayas of the century xvi, with the aim of understanding the decisions and the responsibilities he assumed, within the circumstances than, due his condition, was compelled to face.
