Abstract (English): In the complex society that we live in, we find a range of cultural and educational inequalities in the context of technological society, situated in the era of “globalization”. Phenomena that offer us a suitable field for sociological reflection to understand the scope of cyberculture. Given the success exhibited in the mass media and academic media of new technologies and the Internet, and with the digital age that is imposed, it is worth raising some of the issues involved in culture, socialization, education, and sociocultural relations, which condition our daily life, acting as elements of pressure and control to adapt to the late modern rhythm of life. Methodologically it is a theoretical work of sociological reflection on the sociocultural and educational consequences for the late modern society of cyberculture, without overcoming modernity, bearing in mind the approaches of Pierre Lévy, Manuel Castells, Zygmunt Bauman, Renato Ortiz, N. Negroponte, Han Byung-Chul, Alejandro Grimson, Saskia Sassen, among others. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): En la sociedad compleja en que vivimos nos encontramos con un abanico de desigualdades culturales y educativas en el contexto de la sociedad tecnológica, situado en la era de la “globalización”. Son fenómenos que nos ofrecen un campo propicio para la reflexión sociológica para comprender el alcance de la cibercultura. Ante el éxito exhibido en los medios de comunicación de masas y medios académicos de las nuevas tecnologías e Internet, y con la era digital que se impone, cabe plantear algunas de las cuestiones implicadas en cultura, socialización, educación y las relaciones socioculturales, que condicionan nuestra vida cotidiana, actuando como elementos de presión y control para adaptarnos al ritmo de vida tardomoderno. Metodológicamente es untrabajo teórico de reflexión sociológica de las consecuencias socioculturales y educativas para la sociedad tardomoderna de la cibercultura, sin superar la modernidad, teniendo presente los planteamientos de Pierre Lévy, Manuel Castells, Zygmunt Bauman, Renato Ortiz, N.
