Abstract (English): This article analyzes the production and circulation of symbols in defense of life from conception and their strategic diffusion by the new right in Mexicali, Baja California. The ethnography carried out allowed us to delve into the instruments used to counteract a "cultural battle" that is currently shown through the "gender ideology". It was observed that among the mechanisms used is the manipulation and symbolic exaltation of the fetus to influence the significance of the pregnant body within a social order where the transcendence is placed on the life of the person and the human, which is confronted by the demands of feminism in relation to the decriminalization of abortion. It is concluded that for the new right the dispute is inscribed in the body of women, since in them lies the transcendence of being and, therefore, of the moral order that sustains it. Abstract (Spanish): En este artículo se analiza la producción y circulación de símbolos en defensa de la vida desde la concepción, así como su estratégica difusión por parte de la nueva derecha, en Mexicali, Baja California. La etnografía realizada permitió ahondar en los instrumentos empleados para contrarrestar una "batalla cultural" que actualmente se expresa a través de la "ideología de género". Se observó que, entre las estrategias utilizadas, se encuentran la manipulación y la exaltación simbólica del feto para incidir en la significación del cuerpo gestante dentro de un orden social en el que la trascendencia está puesta en la vida de la persona y lo humano, lo cual se confronta con las demandas de los feminismos en relación a la despenalización del aborto. Se concluye que para la nueva derecha la disputa se inscribe en el cuerpo de las mujeres, ya que en ellas recae la continuidad del ser y, por ende, del orden moral que lo sustenta.
