Abstract (English): The article analyzes the work of Teresa de la Parra, highlighting her use of parody and irony in her writings. The author criticizes the customs and social situation of women in 20th century Venezuela. Her work seeks to destabilize conservative ideology and reveal the contradictions of the value system of the time. The importance of fashion and clothing is mentioned in the novel "Ifigenia," as well as the use of humor to question social and linguistic norms. In "Las memorias de Mamá Blanca," parody and irony are used to question aesthetic canons and literary precepts. The novel also reflects on orality and the concept of history. The tension between the literate and the illiterate, the rural and the urban, and tradition and modernity are highlighted. [Extracted from the article]

La autora critica las costumbres y la situación social de la mujer en la Venezuela del siglo XX. Su obra busca desestabilizar la ideología conservadora y revelar las contradicciones del sistema de valores de la época. Se menciona la importancia de la moda y la vestimenta en la novela "Ifigenia", así como el uso del humor para cuestionar normas sociales y lingüísticas. En "Las memorias de Mamá Blanca", se utiliza la parodia y la ironía para cuestionar los cánones estéticos y preceptos literarios. La novela también reflexiona sobre la oralidad y el concepto de historia. Se destaca la tensión entre lo letrado y lo iletrado, lo rural y lo urbano, y la tradición y la modernidad.
