Abstract (English): The Movement for Peace - MPDL has launched the International Short Story Contest "In Full Color: Stories against Racism and Xenophobia" as part of the Book Day week. The contest seeks stories inspired by illustrations that represent peaceful intercultural coexistence and celebrate respect and solidarity among people of different ethnic backgrounds. The winning stories will be published in an anthology in collaboration with the publishing house Ediciones Dorna. In addition, the Movement for Peace has carried out the #ComoEnCasa campaign to raise awareness about the importance of guaranteeing a safe and welcoming refuge for refugees. The eleventh edition of the Race for Peace in Fuenlabrada, a sports and solidarity event whose funds were allocated to the Emergency Shelter Center for women victims of violence or at risk of social exclusion, has also been celebrated. Finally, the I State Meeting of Young Volunteers of the Movement for Peace has taken place at the University of Granada. [Extracted from the article]
Abstract (Spanish): El Movimiento por la Paz - MPDL ha lanzado el Concurso Internacional de Cuentos "A todo color: Cuentos contra el racismo y la xenofobia" en el marco de la semana del Día del Libro. El concurso busca cuentos inspirados en ilustraciones que representen la convivencia intercultural pacífica y celebren el respeto y la solidaridad entre personas de diferentes orígenes étnicos. Los cuentos ganadores serán publicados en una antología en colaboración con la editorial Ediciones Dorna. Además, el Movimiento por la Paz ha realizado la campaña #ComoEnCasa para sensibilizar sobre la importancia de garantizar un refugio seguro y acogedor para las personas refugiadas. También se ha celebrado la undécima edición de la Carrera por la Paz en Fuenlabrada, un evento deportivo y solidario cuyos fondos se destinaron al Centro de acogida de emergencia para mujeres víctimas de violencia o en riesgo de exclusión social. Por último, se ha llevado a cabo el I Encuentro Estatal de Voluntariado Joven del Movimiento por la Paz en la Universidad de Granada. [Extracted from the article]
