The article "Discovery of the carved rock of Cobá, Quintana Roo. A monument from the Early Classic period" published in the journal "Estudios de Cultura Maya" in the fall-winter of 2024, describes the discovery of a hieroglyphic inscription at the archaeological site of Cobá, associated with a water reservoir in the Nohoch Mul Group. The inscription contains information about dates, events, anthroponyms, and deities, revealing historical and mythological details of the settlement. The text mentions the foundation of Kehwitznal in the year 569 AD and refers to gods such as Baluun Tz’akbu Ajaw, Chaak, and K’awiil. El artículo "Hallazgo de la roca esculpida de Cobá, Quintana Roo. Un monumento del periodo Clásico Temprano" publicado en la revista "Estudios de Cultura Maya" en otoño-invierno 2024, describe el descubrimiento de una inscripción jeroglífica en el sitio arqueológico de Cobá, asociada a una aguada en el Grupo Nohoch Mul. La inscripción contiene información sobre fechas, eventos, antropónimos y deidades, revelando detalles históricos y mitológicos del asentamiento.
