Abstract (English): The Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando owned 95 works painted by women, according to the inventories made between 1758 and 1964, most of them donated by the authors to request an appointment as an academic. However, much of these works remain unknown today, either because they disappeared from the collections or because the name of their author has been obliviated. In this paper, we have traced the works painted by women in all the historical inventories of the Royal Academy. This tracing allows to return the authorship of two paintings, conserved today as anonymous, but realized by the Duquesa de la Roca and by Eulalia Gerona. Besides, a miniature painted by Ana Meléndez has been located, as well as a copy of another miniature painted by Mariana Waldstein. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
Abstract (Spanish): La Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando llegó a poseer 95 obras pintadas por mujeres según los inventarios realizados entre 1758 y 1964, en su mayoría donadas por las autoras para solicitar un nombramiento como académica. Sin embargo, muchas de ellas no se conocen hoy, bien por haber desaparecido de las colecciones bien por haberse perdido la memoria de su autora. Para este artículo hemos realizado un seguimiento de las obras realizadas por mujeres en todos los inventarios históricos de la Real Academia. Este seguimiento ha permitido devolver la autoría a dos pinturas conservadas hoy en día como anónimas, y que habrían sido realizadas por la Duquesa de la Roca y por Eulalia Gerona. Además, se ha localizado el paradero actual de una miniatura realizada por Ana Meléndez y una copia de otra miniatura realizada por Mariana Waldstein. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
