Abstract (English): The article focuses on the role of women in food and domestic religiosity during the medieval and modern periods, highlighting their agency through the management and transformation of food. It argues that food practices were not only essential for the physical maintenance of families but also served as identity markers in interreligious contexts, where women played a crucial role in the transmission of cultural and religious traditions. Through documentary examples, it illustrates how converso Jewish and Moorish women used their food agency to resist cultural assimilation and maintain their religious identities in a hostile environment. The study proposes a reevaluation of the kitchen as a space of female power and creativity, fundamental to the construction of religiosity and cultural identity. [Extracted from the article]
