| Abstract (English): | The main objective of this text is to develop a brief analysis and reflection on the ruptures and continuities between the neoliberal cultural model and that of the project known as the '4T' (Fourth Transformation), in such a way that it allows us to visualize the current challenges of cultural policy in Mexico during the implementation of the latter. From the perspective of cultural history, we will review the legitimation of the narrative of the neoliberal model, accusing lags in the pillar institutions of revolutionary nationalism, as well as contrasting it with the discourse and cultural policies of a new left-wing government, openly anti-neoliberal and based on the idea of 'the people'. | Abstract (Spanish): | Este texto tiene como objetivo principal desarrollar un breve análisis y reflexión con relación a las rupturas y continuidades entre el modelo cultural neoliberal y el del proyecto denominado de la "4T" (cuarta transformación), de tal manera que nos permita visualizar los actuales desafíos de la política cultural en México durante la implementación de este último. Desde la perspectiva de la historia cultural se revisará la legitimación de la narrativa del modelo neoliberal, acusando rezagos en las instituciones pilares del nacionalismo revolucionario, así como también se contrastará con el discurso y políticas culturales de un nuevo gobierno de izquierda, abiertamente antineoliberal y sustentado en la idea de "pueblo".
