| Abstract (English): | The presence of Latin American migrants in Europe has contributed to modifying the continental mediascape (Appadurai). Therefore, I propose to observe the representation of the phenomenon provided by four authors from the northern area of the American subcontinent who experienced it personally: Sainz Borgo, Sánchez Rugeles, Silva Passuni and Quillahuaman. Focusing on the potential autobiographical component and the use of material testimonies (Bodei, Larios), as well as relying on the concepts of transculturation (Ortiz) and in-between (Bhabha), the aim is to reveal the narrative of the negative experience of these social actors even in the face of a successful insertion, and the capacity of the texts to propose alternative epistemologies and question the hegemonic European vision. | Abstract (Spanish): | La presencia de migrantes latinoamericanos en Europa ha contribuido a modificar el mediascape (Appadurai) continental. Propongo, entonces, observar la representación del fenómeno proporcionada por cuatro autores del área norte del subcontinente americano que lo experimentaron personalmente: Sainz Borgo, Sánchez Rugeles, Silva Passuni, Quillahuaman. Centrándose en el potencial componente autobiográfico y el uso de testimonios materiales (Bodei, Larios), y apoyándose, además, en los conceptos de transculturación (Ortiz) e in-between (Bhabha), se pretende relevar la narración de la vivencia negativa de estos actores sociales, aun frente a una lograda inserción, y la capacidad de los textos de proponer epistemologías alternativas y poner en tela de juicio la visión hegemónica europea.
