Abstract (English):	The article analyzes the training of development planners in Northeast Brazil, promoted by the Superintendency for the Development of the Northeast (SUDENE) during the 1960s and 1970s. With the support of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), SUDENE organized courses that trained specialists to address inequalities and underdevelopment in the region. Through institutional documents and testimonies from former members, the training activities and the processes that led to the creation and expansion of its technical team are reconstructed, highlighting its role in modernizing the bureaucratic apparatus and in disseminating ECLAC ideas in Brazil. Abstract (Spanish):	En este artículo se examina la capacitación de planificadores del desarrollo en el nordeste brasileño promovida por la Superintendencia de Desarrollo del Nordeste (SUDENE) en las décadas de 1960 y 1970. Con el apoyo de la Comisión Económica para América Latina y el Caribe (CEPAL), la SUDENE organizó cursos sobre desarrollo y planificación económica y social, y formó generaciones de especialistas para enfrentar las desigualdades y el subdesarrollo en la región. Fue uno de los principales canales de difusión de las ideas cepalinas en el Brasil al actuar como espacio de producción de conocimiento sobre la realidad regional, laboratorio de reformas institucionales orientadas a la modernización del aparato burocrático y emblema de la ideología nacional-desarrollista. Se emplean documentos institucionales, cobertura periodística y testimonios de exmiembros de la SUDENE para reconstruir las actividades para la formación de cuadros técnicos y los procesos que llevaron a la constitución, expansión y desestructuración de su equipo técnico.
