Abstract (English): The text analyzes the book *The Return of the Strong Gods: Nationalism, Populism, and the Future of the West* by Russell Ronald Reno, which examines the crisis of the postwar liberal order and the rise of populism as a reaction against the dominant intellectual consensus since 1945. Reno argues that the decline of the "strong gods"—understood as objects of collective love such as truth, homeland, and family—has led to a society that favors weak loves and truths, threatening the Western tradition. The author links this phenomenon to the emergence of populist leaders who reject postwar liberalism, exemplified by the figure of Donald Trump, and proposes recovering authentic values such as national sovereignty and honor. However, the analysis also points out criticisms of the book, such as the lack of a clear definition of the "postwar consensus" and the confusion between liberalism and secularism, which could lead to erroneous conclusions about the cultural causes of Western decline.
