Abstract (English): The text focuses on the book *Women, Museums, and Heritage: Stories about Conservation and Safeguarding* by Jonatan Jair López Muñoz, which analyzes the participation of women archaeologists, collectors, and conservators in the management of Spanish artistic heritage during the first half of the 20th century. The study highlights the importance of these women in the protection and conservation of heritage, especially during the Second Republic and the Spanish Civil War, and addresses the political, social, and professional difficulties they faced in a male-centered context. Additionally, the author employs a feminist approach and methodologies that include the reconstruction of genealogies and the critical reading of documents to recover the biographies and contributions of these women, many of whom have been rendered invisible in traditional historiography. The book also examines key episodes such as the relocation of works from the Prado Museum in 1936 and reflects on the idealization of cultural heritage from a situated and critical perspective.
