Abstract (English): The article examines the spiritual proposal of diocesan priest and writer Pablo d'Ors, who has developed a synthesis between Christian tradition and Eastern meditative practices, particularly Zen Buddhism. D'Ors founded in 2014 the network of meditators Friends of the Desert, which has convened more than twenty thousand people in its contemplative practices, offering a spiritual itinerary based on initiation retreats, weekly seminars, and monthly practice days. His proposal is founded on four main theses: interiority through corporeality, disidentification of the ego, reprogramming of thought to transform feelings, and self-knowledge as a path toward knowledge of God from a non-dual perspective. The movement is inscribed in a postsecular context where religiosity and modernity coexist, allowing people of different beliefs or without religious affiliation to approach mystical experience through contemplative silence, integrating wisdom from Eastern and Western traditions without renouncing the Christian root.
