Abstract: The article reports on the digital formatting of the famous works of Leonardo da Vinci. His original manuscripts and drawings have been stored in a digital archive called "E-Leo" and is available at the Biblioteca Leonardiana (Leonardo d Vinci Library). It is suggested that the digital document will aid in a more in depth understanding of Leonardo da Vinci, his works and his life. The article gives credit to the European Union, which was a large contributer in the financial aspects of this project.
