Abstract: The article focuses on experiments performed on the transmission of electric energy by researchers at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). "WiTricity" is the tentative name of the experiment, which will transmit electricity without the use of traditional cables and wires. It is reported that "WiTricity" is at its beginning stages and will not be totally efficient or perfected for several years. However, the experiments have been successful in the short distance transmission of electric energy.
