Abstract: The article discusses the use of seductive imagery in myth and folklore. According to author Román Gubert, mythology is a cultural creation that reflects that which truly exists in a society. Through it´s transformation, literature and storytelling became a way to set a fictional scene which mimics certain cultural and societal truths. With the growth of new technologies, such as the radio, automobile, and television, the ways in which humans communicate has expanded in a way which demonstrates the need for humans to continually create new ways of communicating.
