description Simulation as a learning strategy has been the response to the training needs in the business sector. This paper seeks to show the level of knowledge on the characteristics and contributions of significant experiences of simulation in the financial sector at a national and international level. To do this, the article did a systematic review of studies and experiences about financial learning simulation that had been performed for the last 15 years in order to identify the conditions and characteristics of simulation within the job training in the financial sector. The article concludes that simulators allow to integrate knowledge, make informed decisions, teamwork and motivation, all these significant elements of teaching-learning process.
