The article reports on the arrest of 15 Hispanic day workers and their organizers who gathered at the parking lot of Home Depot in Louisiana in hopes of being hired by contractors. The Gretna Police Department charged them with trespassing on the said private property. Kenner Police Department Chief Steve Carraway said his office receives calls every day complaining about the migrant workers moving about the parking lots at Lowe's Home Improvement store and Home Depot. |
