The article features the Harla May's Fat Boy Grill owned by Anthony and Carmen Baca in Belen, New Mexico. The restaurant which was a renovated theater features 1940s coke machines, a 1930s shell gas pump and a full size Tastee Freeze sign. Anthony has decided to retain 32 of the original seats at the theater, left the stage for the theater and screen and leveled the floor to remove 30 inches from the slope. The establishment hosts weddings, class reunions and birthdays in addition to serving meals. |
