Abstract: The article focuses on the hazardous waste disposal program implemented by the Department of Environmental Services (DES) in New Hampshire. It states that the DES proposed the Hazardous Waste Coordinator Certification (HWCC), which requires training for waste facility that generates 220 pounds or more of the hazardous waste in a month. Moreover, the DES believes that educated hazardous waste generators will lead to good waste management practices.
