Title: A Method of Schlieren Alignment Stabilization Using Automatic Feedback Control
Authors: King, W. Lawton
Committee Members: Carson, John
Summary: An investigation of the application of feedback control to schlieren system alignment stabilization is presented. A feedback control system was designed with the necessary sensors and actuator to maintain the knife edge alignment of a schlieren system. The feedback control system's performance when subjected to controlled disturbances was evaluated. The results indicated that the approach is feasible.
