| Abstract: | An electron cloud Zeeman sensor system is proposed. The system consists of a micro-Fabry Perot cavity embedded microring circuit. The space–time function controls the operation of the system. The input source of 1.50 μm is fed into the system through the input port and the whispering gallery mode at the center ring with optimized parameters has been observed. The electron cloud oscillation results from the excitation of the silver bars at the center ring leading to electron spin up and electron spin down. The magnetic field in the system is generated by the electron current passing through the silver bars where it is perpendicular to the electric field. The micro-Fabry Perot sensing unit is applied to measure the electron cloud spectral profile with the effect of the Zeeman interaction and without the effect of the Zeeman interaction. The Zeeman interaction of the electron spins and magnetic dipoles split the electron cloud spin states, where this effect is observed on the spectral profile of the electron cloud. In manipulation, the input power is varied from 100 to 500 mW the Zeeman splitting energy increases as the magnetic field increases. The optimum Zeeman effect sensor sensitivities of (0.057 meVT−1 and − 0.025 meVT−1) are obtained for the electron spin (+ 1/2) and electron spin (− 1/2) states, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
