Abstract: In this work, we assess the power production of a single wind turbine and wind farm under probabilistic distributions where wind speed and wind turbine availability are dependent on each other. In our developments, the wind speed distribution is assumed to be discrete. Our method of finding the corresponding distributions is based on classical probabilistic techniques.
